Find love at Tokyo Daijingu! Head to Ise Shrine in Tokyo.
Since the new year is a crazy busy time, I went to visit on a weekday at the end of January when it had calmed down a bit.
I visit every year, but this year the water basin had colorful flowers for the new year, and the priest gave me paper to wipe my hands with.
About Tokyo Daijingu:
During the Edo period, people would visit Ise Grand Shrine to make a wish for the first time in their life.
During the Meiji period, Hibiya Daijingu was established in Hibiya, Tokyo, as a remote worship hall for Ise Grand Shrine.
After the Great Kanto Earthquake, it moved to its current location, and after the war it was renamed Tokyo Daijingu from Iidabashi Daijingu, and is known as Tokyo's "Oise-sama."
The shrine enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, Toyouke Okami, and Yamatohime-no-mikoto, the deities enshrined at Ise Grand Shrine (Naiku and Geku).
Since the three gods of creation, who are in charge of the creation and nurturing of all things in heaven and earth, are enshrined here, this shrine is also known as a shrine that brings good fortune in finding a partner.
Safety for the home, prosperity in business, protection from misfortune, good luck, finding a partner, safety on the roads, academic success, etc.
