If you love fresh and raw seafood this is the place to be. 20 minites walk from Miebashi station and to the the fish markt place where all fishing boats parked and unloaded early in the morning. Fishes are cut and cleaned there. There is only one place that you can buy, cook and eat there. If this is what you are looking for the you should go to the Makeshi Public Market instead. This market 泊港 is really for raw and fresh seafood lover. Some shops are closed Wednesdays and in general the place from 8am.

You really don't need to go to Tomari Fish Market in Okinawa. It's very small and there aren't many things there. The fishy smell is so strong as soon as you walk in that it's unbearable! There were two shops at the innermost part of the market that sold goods and provided dine-in services. We bought sea urchin, sweet shrimp and salmon at the last store, but the store owner did not allow us to eat the takeout food bought from other stores at their store. Although I understood, I was still unhappy. In the end we ate at the tables and chairs provided by the market. The store owner seemed to be a Taiwanese, but the food was really not as delicious as that in Osaka Kizu Market, and I couldn't find any beer for sale. My friend also threw it away before finishing it. Finally, I left the market and had a bowl of 600 yen ramen at a fly-in-the-wall Okinawa restaurant across the street.
