The terrain of Toyama
Honshu in the northern part of Honshu, Japan is based on the Noto Peninsula, the Toyama, Takayama, and Nagoya areas, and the Mie Prefecture is the tail. The whole area is reminiscent of the dragon. modeling. Therefore, the tourist area here is called "Shenglong Road".
If you choose to use Nagoya as your entry point, then the itinerary is based on Nagoya-Gero-Mountain-Toyama Kanazawa-Shirakawa. My trip to the Spring Festival is also arranged for a few nights in Toyama. One hotel is cheap, and the second is convenient to the world cultural heritage Shirakawa Township or Wuyi Mountain. At the beginning of
2, there was no snow in Nagoya and Gero, and there was a thin snow in the mountains, and the more north of Toyama was still snowing everywhere. The children in the south suddenly felt the right place!
Toyama itself has almost no attractions, the only thing that can be visited is Toyama City, and there is a small park and boat nearby. All the way from the train station, the sky is drifting down the sky, the whole city is rendered white, the best place to take pictures is a bright red bridge in front of Toyama City, try to find more trees dark background, in the bridge Take a stroll and play with snow. If you are lucky, you can also play with the cute cherry sister.

When visiting Toyama we recommend making time to visit Toyama castle because not only are the gardens beautiful, you can also climb to the top when you have finished visiting the interesting museum inside. Opposite the castle in the park there is an art gallery which offers a tea ceremony.

Spring at Toyama Castle
#cherryblossom2024
Toyama Castle Park is the grounds of the former Toyama Castle initially constructed in 1543, belongs to a lord whose clan ruled over Toyama and Kaga province during the Edo Period. The Castle keep was dismantled during the Meiji period. Today, it consists of a garden and several keep housing the treasures and lacquerwares. During Spring time, there is also a Tulip festival where thousands of tulips were planted and full bloomed during mid of April. There are also a stream where you can take the boat to view the Cherry Blossoms when it is fully bloomed. A very nice place to visit indeed.

Visit Toyama Castle
Toyama Castle, a castle in a public park located in the heart of Toyama city, serves as a relaxation area for the town with its serene atmosphere and lush surroundings. The main building houses a museum displaying the history and heritage of this castle, which is over 400 years old.
During the spring season, the 'cherry blossoms' in the vicinity of Toyama Castle Park bloom splendidly. Visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms within the park and also take the Matsukawa River Cruises to experience the scenery along the Matsukawa River that flows near the castle.
Additionally, there is the Matsukawa River Cafe' (松川茶屋) located by the river, offering a menu of food and beverages where you can sit and enjoy meals, desserts, or chill with a drink. A recommended item is the Toyama Castle Matcha Parfait (780 yen), a rich flavor that everyone should try!
Access: About a 10-minute walk from Toyama Station.

Toyama Castle
#thingstodo Historical site near Toyama City. I am lucky to witness flocks of cranes resting at the tree next to this historical architecture. Serendipity and occasionally you will also hear cranes communicating to one another. This is an unforgettable experience for me as I hardly had this rare opportunity watching these birds not one, but more than 30s, resting on the tree branches. Simply amazing and had it not due to time constraints, I would sit nearby this beautiful place watching the birds and hopefully catch the sunset here as well. I made a right decision to visit Toyama!

Toyama Castle
This castle was built on the corner of Toyama Castle Park.
The view of the castle over the moat is beautiful and has become a symbol of the city. It was built after the war in 1954, and only the moat and the stone walls remain from the original. The Local History Museum found within the castle teaches us about history from its construction to the present. Over 400 years of history, from its construction in the Warring States period to the present, are presented to visitors through models and videos. Furthermore, the observation deck on the 4th floor lets you take in the scale of Toyama Castle during the Edo period.
In 2024, I want to go back to this place again.

The bus ju
The bus just entered the downtown area of Toyama. After passing through Toyama City, I saw this cherry blossom forest. It turned out to be one of the famous cherry blossom spots. After getting off the bus, we went straight to this beautiful river bank. Located in the center of Toyama, Toyama City is the landmark building of Toyama. Many trains leading to Toyama Station will pass by here. The transportation is convenient, surrounded by moats, and you can see cherry blossoms in spring. The cherry blossoms on both sides are forested, the breeze blows, and the cherry falls into the rain. Unfortunately, the weather is not good, otherwise it will definitely be more beautiful. The cherry tree here has been around for a long time, and the strong one can't hold it. The first time I saw so many cherry trees so high, I was very excited.

I never th
I never thought that there is a place in Japan like Switzerland, and it is no different from the Alps. Here, I feel that the years are quiet, everything is peaceful and graceful. This is the small town of Tokuyama, Japan. Toyama is located in central Japan. It is close to Toyama Bay and has a wide variety of seafood. The white shrimp with sweet taste is the biggest food feature here. It also has the most beautiful station Yuqing Station in the "Spirited Away" framing, like a fairy-tale fairyland village. The Black Snow Canyon, known as the must come once in a lifetime, is also the most beautiful Starbucks in the world. It is such a small town, lively and quiet, beautiful and romantic.
Step into the Toyama Art Museum, an art gallery that is designed to blend seamlessly with art and nature. The museum has an eye-accessible beauty and is surrounded by the peaks of Tateyama. You can enjoy the works of art masters from the early 20th century, such as Picasso and Miro, as well as the works of Japanese and Toyama representative painters. The most moving thing is to stand on the roof of the museum and look at the snow-capped Alps in the distance, like a replica of Switzerland.
Starbucks in the nearby Water Park is rated as "the most beautiful Starbucks in the world" by the Japanese media. When you look up, you can enjoy the ring road of Toyama. In the spring, the splendid cherry blossoms are complemented by the canal scenery. It is a blessing in life to be able to see such beautiful scenery.
