It was a trip to Nagoya and friends. Just to share some of the places that we visited 🥰 We visited Nagoya Castle, which was originally built in 1612. Nagoya Castle was the seat of the Owari branch of the Tokugawa shogunate. We ordered Hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice), which is known as Nagoya specialty. It was delicious and we loved it so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💰 ¥3,900 - ¥5,000 per person 📍503 Godocho, Atsuta Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 456-0043, Japan Besides, we also walked around the Osu Shopping District. A bustling shopping area with a mix of traditional and modern shops, Osu has been a commercial hub since the 17th century. We managed to see and learn about the evolution of Toyota from a textile machinery manufacturer to a global automotive leader. ⏰9:30 AM - 5:00 PM 💰 ¥500 📍4-1-35 Noritakeshinmachi, Nishi Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 451-0051, Japan We also explored the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park. We discovered the history of Japan’s railways and learn about the future of high-speed train technology. We find to very interesting and worth to visit if you’re a very “technical person” 🥰 ⏰ 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM 💰 ¥1,000 📍3-2-2 Kinjofuto, Minato Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 455-0848, Japan We also spent sometime to walk around Tokugawa Art Museum and Garden. This museum houses samurai artifacts, artworks, and treasures from the Tokugawa family. There are a lot of things to see. If you have extra time, I would suggest visiting this museum! ⏰10:00 AM - 5:00 PM 💰 ¥1,400 📍1017 Tokugawacho, Higashi Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 461-0023, Japan Last but not least, I would recommend you to try Yamamotoya Honten. Their signature is Miso Nikomi Udon (thick udon noodles in a miso broth). TOYOTA Industrial Technology Memorial: Originally Toyota was a textile industry started, using hands and machines to show the process of soft cotton beat, the museum shows how many cars are made, the venue can make their own plastic car pendant, very interesting, understand the historical process of manufacturing car engines.

We arrived at Nagoya station at around 2 pm, directly go to Toyota commemorative museum. We took a city bus from the bus center inside the station. Only 1 or 2 stops, and then walk for about 3-5 minutes from the station. Inside, we need to pay for admission fee ¥500/ person and they got FREE coin lockers 😀 You need to put ¥100 to use it, but you will get your coin back. The museum itself was very interesting and give lots of information about Toyota and their history also about the machines they build. They have a guided tour (certain time) and audio translator but you need to pay extra. Overall it was a unique and interesting experience 😁 You should visit when coming to Nagoya. Oh and they have like a small game stations after you exit the museum. And it’s free too.. just show your ticket to the officers. #givethanks #givethanks

Hello, I'm going to write my first Japan travel review. I went to Japan for 3 nights and 4 days 🙂 When I was planning my trip to Japan, there was a place I really wanted to visit, and that was Lake Suwa! I thought I would have too much time to just visit Lake Suwa, so I also stopped by Osaka and Nagoya! I made good memories in Osaka by visiting Dotonbori, Osaka Castle, and the market :) Also, there were so many delicious things that I couldn't stop eating. If I had to recommend a few, I'd recommend Ichiran Ramen, Kinryu Ramen, and a tonkatsu restaurant near Dotonbori (I forgot the name) :D After spending a day in Osaka, I moved on to Nagoya! People call Nagoya a boring city? But when I actually went there, there were so many things to see. From Oasis 21 to Mirai Tower, Sakae, and the castle... I remember being so happy to see the busking. Oh, and there's a restaurant called Yabaton that's really delicious, so I highly recommend it!! Lastly, I'm going to write about Lake Suwa. First of all, let me give you an overall review. It's worth going at least once! The reason is that the ticket price is too expensive. If you go directly from Matsumoto or Tokyo, it might be okay, but I went back and forth from Nagoya, and it cost over 100,000 won..ㅎㅎ Also, to take a picture of Lake Suwa, you have to go to Tadeishi Park, but the road up is legendary and very difficult. Seriously,, I heard that you can take a bus or taxi, but since I'm a student and don't have money, I walked..ㅎㅎ (I regret it a little) But once you get there, all the hardships disappear. The scenery is incredible. I was so happy just staring at the lake! I recommend Lake Suwa at least once! But honestly, I think I'll have to think about it a second time :) This is my first trip to Japan, so I'm not sure if this was helpful. Japan is famous for it's industry and the economic boom that drove it's success after WW2, there are many iconic brands from Japan that we encounter in our daily life. Toyota is one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world and is a brand synonomous with quality and inginuity. The Toyota musuem in Nagoya is based in one of its originial factories and combines their history of textile production and automotive manufactring, the latter being more famous. The museum houses a lot of equpiment from differnt time periods with multiple working displays to help you visualise past production methods. There are also very helpful and enthusiast staff offering talks throughout the museum (mainly in Japanese) The highlight for me was the car exhibits, they have everything from Toyota’s original designs to modern electric cars. It also houses cars from its other brands such as Lexus and Dihatsu. I was mesmerised by the robots they have set up to demonstrate modern car manufacturing, you can also get a free 3D printed car keyring as a souvenir. Overall a fascinating museum but I would advise getting the English audio guide as most of the displays are only in Japanese - the live talks are also in Japanese so that’s a possible issue for some. It’s close to Sakō metro station and also very close to a huge Aeon mall with great food options if you’re hungry. Just across the road! I am such a huge Toyota fan! I love Toyota's Fortuner and the C-HR models. They're one of my dream cars. So when I found out that there is this huge Toyota car museum in Nagoya, I went there right away. It's a great place to see the history and the development of the Toyota cars and the company itself. It does not only exhibit cars by the way. They also exhibit technologies such as car machines, textiles, and the likes. And no worries, they also have cafes and food stalls, so you will not be starving. #wintergetaway
