The three huge rock peaks rise from the ground, which is breathtaking! The three peaks of Lavaredo are the Big Peak, the Small Peak and the West Peak. They are about 3,000 meters above sea level and the terrain protrudes to a height of 568 meters. The three peaks can be seen in many lakes in the Dolomites, which is quite magnificent. If you want to get closer to the three peaks, the best way is to hike. There are simpler and easier routes as well as longer circular routes, depending on your physical strength. The car park is located in the Rifugio Auronzo and costs €30 per day. This time we took the easy route, following Route 101 from Rifugio Auronzo to the mountain hut Rifugio Lavaredo. The mountain road was flat and easy to walk on, and looking up we could see the three peaks. After about an hour we arrived at the mountain church Cappella degli Alpini. There is also a monument nearby that we can visit. Continue walking forward, stopping and taking photos, and you will reach Rifugio Lavaredo mountain hut in about 40 minutes. Basically, you need to make an appointment before you can stay in the mountain hut. The environment is good and it can be used as a relay rest point. However, the weather on the mountain is changeable in the afternoon and the whole mountain is covered with white walls, so we walked up to Rifugio Locatelli, took some close-up photos of the majestic three peaks, and then decided to return the same way. Although it is a simple route, it still takes 4-5 hours to go back and forth, so you still have to prepare relevant equipment and food. Visiting Tre Cime di Lavaredo was an amazing experience. The stunning mountain views and unique rock formations amazed me at every moment. Walking along the surrounding trails was enjoyable. The atmosphere was refreshing and filled with the scent of nature. With every step, new and astonishing sights unfolded. We also stopped at one of the mountain huts for a meal, and the local food there was delicious and full of flavor. If I had to choose the best place in the Dolomites, I would shout without hesitation: Tre Cime!!! 💙 I took a bus from Dobbiaco to reach Tre Cime. At the entrance to Tre Cime, we had to wait quite a while due to the cars entering the area. ♥️ I started trekking at Tre Cime. As soon as I saw the three peaks, I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere of Tre Cime. It felt almost unreal, as if it were out of this world. 💛 I decided to hike to Rifugio Locatelli. It took about two and a half hours. If you climb the hill behind the Rifugio Locatelli, you can take amazing cave shots! 💕 Trekking at Tre Cime was quite challenging, but it was the most stunning place during my Dolomites trip!!!! Highly recommended!

Dobbiaco is a small village in the eastern Dolomites. I stayed in Dobbiaco to visit Tre Cime in the Dolomites. Dobbiaco is a very quiet village and is located near the Austrian border. 💙 Dobbiaco has excellent bike paths. I decided to rent a bike and cross the Austrian border. ♥️ I will never forget the moment I rode the bike with the cool breeze brushing against me. The clear blue sky, lush green fields, and the fresh air free of any fine dust—everything was perfect. 💛 After about two hours of cycling, I crossed the Austrian border and arrived at a village called Sillian. I took a break there and had a meal. My destination was a village called Lienz, so after eating, I got back on the bike. However, it started to get tough from that point. In hindsight, I should have stopped at Sillian. Eventually, I found a train station midway and took a train back to Dobbiaco.🤣 💕 On the way back to Dobbiaco, I had to transfer trains, but one of the trains got canceled. As a result, I ended up cycling for another 30 minutes. Despite all the ups and downs, it was truly an enjoyable experience. Crossing the border by bike was such a memorable adventure, even though it was quite challenging.😉

Get ready to comfort shoes and ready to hike to see the wonderful view from the peak. Camera is important to take nice picture of it.
