There are several monasteries scattered in the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. It seems that you can go there on your own, but for efficiency, I think it's better to take an optional tour. I went to Chrysoryoiatissa Monastery and Kikos Monastery on an optional tour from Paphos. Chrysoryoiatissa Monastery is a small, rustic monastery, but the decorations on the walls were wonderful. Kikos Monastery is located on top of a mountain and has a great view. I recommend seeing them at least once when you come to Cyprus. #EuropeTrip #Cyprus #Troodos
