Tokyo|Trunk(Hotel) Yoyogi Park Hotel
TRUNK (HOTEL) is located on a quiet hillside in the bustling Shibuya business district. The design firm, Monut Fuji Architects, is known for its clean lines and architecture that conforms to the terrain and environment.
Upon entering, the first thing you see is the bar, then through a public space, you will see a not-so-conspicuous service desk. In the interior design, black and white tones are paired with warm natural wood furniture and green plants, finding a balance between industrial feel and greenery.
As a boutique hotel, Trunk has only 15 rooms, abandoning the traditional hotel style and creating 7 different integrated living spaces. The room types range from large to small, suitable for 1-8 people to stay, suitable for solo travelers and small teams.
The smallest suite, Balcony Junior Suite, has an area of 45 square meters, with a 30 square meter large balcony, and can accommodate up to 6 people.
The Living suite, with a bar and a large living room space, has an area of 55 square meters, with a 10 square meter loft, and can accommodate up to 4 people. The 82 square meter Dinning Suite, plus a 10 square meter loft, can accommodate up to 6 people. As the name suggests, it has an open kitchen and a six-person dining table.
The largest Terrace Suite, with an indoor area of 140 square meters, also has a 70 square meter outdoor space with an outdoor swimming pool and projection equipment, and can accommodate up to 8 people. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table for 16 people. It can be used for various social scenes such as parties, dinners, meetings or small exhibitions.
The standard room suitable for 1 person to stay can choose the basic room type or the room type with a balcony, and there is also a Loft room type that can accommodate 3 people.
Welcome gifts (candy, slippers, T-shirts), pajamas and even laundry bags are interesting and full of design sense, different from regular hotels.
