Here's a carefully prepared 3-day itinerary for you: Day 1: Starting from Xilingxia Third Road, stroll to Zhan Bridge and feel the gentle sea breeze. Next, visit the solemn St. Michael's Cathedral, and then ascend Signal Hill for a bird's-eye view of Qingdao's red tiles and green trees. The airport bus to the city center only costs CNY 20 per person. If you choose to travel by train, it is recommended to arrive at Qingdao Railway Station. Zhan Bridge is only one stop away on Line 3, and a taxi ride takes about 7 minutes. If you need to reverse the itinerary, you can choose to arrive at Qingdao North Railway Station, which is about 1 hour away from the city center. Qingdao has a total of 6 subway lines, which can basically reach all the attractions within the city. It is recommended to download the "Qingdao Metro" app in advance and scan the code to travel. 1. Qingdao is divided into the old city and the new city. Most of the tourist attractions are concentrated in the old city, and the new city has the May Fourth Square and shopping malls. I stayed in the new city, which was comfortable and clean, and the shopping mall was right across the street, which was nice. However, if you want to go to the night market or tourist attractions, you have to take a taxi for 20 minutes, which was inconvenient. You can catch a taxi very easily with the Didi Taxi app. 2. The night market is still one of the most satisfying tourist attractions. I went to the Taitung Night Market first, but other than the fact that it was close and had good transportation, I felt that there was nothing special about it. Instead, there is the Lichun Night Market or the Leke(?) Street Night Market, which is a 5-10 minute walk from Lichun, which is large and has a lot to eat. 3. You must take a cruise at May Fourth Square. It is only about 30 minutes, but it is great for seeing the night view of the buildings at a glance. 4. The beer museum, old town (church, cathedral, observatory), etc., can be sore if you go all in one day, so it’s better to enjoy them slowly over two days. 5. One of the must do thing for me whenever I went Qingdao is to visit their Qingdao Beer Museum where Qingdao beer is freshly brewed in. The museum is mainly two big building which they named A and B. They have guide for you to finish. Inside, you will be introduced to how Qingdao came to have their own brewery and their history. You will noticed real beer flowing out of one of the "tap" in the tour and the smell is sooooooo enticing. You also get to claim 2 glasses of freshly brew beer along with some peanuts in the museum. It has to be the nicest qingdao beer I have ever drink. Very sweet and fresh. You can also customise a qingdao beer bottle with your photos on it. I did it everytime I go :p just for the sake or keeping it.
