【A journey to cleanse your soul ~ Tsz Shan Monastery🙏】
In today's commercialized society, everyone lives for their own interests, money💰 and material things have become the biggest temptation😈, the scene of intrigue in the workplace happens from time to time😥, every day to wear a fake mask🤡 to be a human being, have you ever thought about spending a day slow down to think about the meaning of life🤔?
So what is so special about Tsz Shan Temple😚?
The second tallest Buddha statue in the world 🙏
The Guanyin statue at Tsz Shan Temple is the second tallest Guanyin statue in the world😯, 76 meters high and twenty-five floors high😆, as far away as Science Park and Ma On Shan can be clearly seen, only second to Hainan Island's Nanshan Sea Guanyin statue. It turns out that the location of the Buddha statue at Tsz Shan Temple is very particular🤔, backed by Baxianling⛰️, facing Freshwater Lake in Fun Wan, it is a good place with outstanding people, and echoes the Great Buddha of the Temple of Heaven facing the northeast in Lantau Island😃
Luojia Pond⛲
Loga Pool is a very special design of the pool⛲, the pool is divided into two parts, the inner circle and the outer circle, the inner circle part has a fountain and the pool water will constantly flow out, but the outer circle part is the wave flat as a mirror, it means people's troubles😔
The Great Hall 🛕
The Great Hall is the largest main hall of Tzu Shan Temple🛕, the hall enshrines 3 Buddhas 🙏, namely Shakyamuni Buddha in the middle, Amitabha Buddha on the left, and Medicine Buddha on the right. The three Buddha statues are almost the same in appearance The hand 🫴 type division, according to the editor who participated in the tour staff explained that day, that is because the 3 Buddhas after becoming a Buddha no longer have a fixed image, implying one is everything, everything is one, all things and I are one, all living beings have no distinction 😯
The holy tree of Bodhi 🌳
When it comes to Buddhism, how can we not mention the Bodhi tree🌳? And the Bodhi tree next to the Pumen Hall of Tsz Shan Temple is even more famous. It is said that the ancestor of this tree is the Bodhi tree when Sakyamuni Buddha realized the truth😱, in 2012 the President of Sri Lanka donated part of the branches of the sacred tree to Tzu Shan Temple
A valuable lesson in life📖
On the day of the visit to Tsz Shan Temple, you can participate in his tour ga😃, I highly recommend you join his tour, because if you visit, the average person will not understand the meaning 🤣, and I join the tour after I feel like I learned a valuable lesson 👇
~ "The Way of the Chinese Maid": After entering the Tsz Shan Temple through the first mountain gate ⛩️, you will see a Rohan pine 🌳 on the left and right sides
~ "Flowers are not red for a hundred days": There are fresh flowers 🌷 placed in the temple, implying the principle that flowers are not red for a hundred days, reminding the world to cherish everything they have now and live in the moment😇
~ "There must be a cause and effect": Buddhism worships the Buddha with fruit 🍊 instead of roast meat, in addition to because Buddhism is fasting, it also wants to bring out the truth that everything has cause and effect
Tsz Shan Temple Buddhist Art Museum 🏛️
There is also a Buddhist art museum under the statue of Guanyin, which collects precious Buddhist artifacts from all over the world, displaying many different types of Buddha statues, interested friends can visit 😉
Finally, I sincerely thank Mr. Li Ka-shing for his contribution to Hong Kong over the years 🙏, for Hong Kong people to invest in building a good place where we can wash our hearts 🥰~
Tips: Tsz Shan Temple and Bishop Shan Water Supply Reservoir are also hard to get a ticket🙈, is one of the most difficult to book visit sites in recent years, but I believe that if you are lucky, one day will book 😌, want to visit friends remember to visit the Tzu Shan Temple website on time at 8am a month ago to book admission 😉. In addition, the use of aerial photography is strictly prohibited within the premises of Tzu Shan Temple, some temples e.g. Daxiong Bao Temple 🛕 is not allowed to take pictures📸ga, clothing👕 has specific requirements, you go to visit remember to follow the rules of others 😉
Transportation: You can take the 20B minibus 🚌 from Tai Po Market Station to Pu Mun Road and get off and walk along Pu Mun Road for 10 minutes to reach the main entrance of Tsz Shan Temple
