#2023travelwish The pandemic gave me more appreciation to explore domestically. With the travel restrictions because of Covid-19, I aim to have my trips in our country. This is to boast local tourism as well. I was surprised that are really beautiful places on a less travelled by areas just like this cold and wonderful Tumalog Waterfalls located in Oslob Cebu. The water flow is high and huge. And it is so cold. My wish for 2023 is to be able to travel in South Korea and Japan. Claiming for it just like this majestic waterfalls.

📍Tumalog Falls, Oslob, Cebu, Philippines Standing at approximately 80 to 100 meters in height, the sheer size of this waterfall makes it a unique and an incredible place to visit. The water is crisp and cold which is why it is so refreshing. If you're in Oslob to see the whale sharks, then it's worth stopping here to see. Visited the place with my family last July 2022 and it was a wonderful site. Drought and other seasonal factors may also make the falls look quite underwhelming. It may be wise to visit between the early weeks of the rainy season. 📌Rates: Php200 per head - Motorcycle ride from main road to Main Entrance of Tumalog Falls and vice versa Php50 per head - Entrance Fee/Tourism Fee (Optional) Php50 per head - Two-way motorcycle ride down to the waterfall and back to the main entrance, or you may opt to hike and walk your way downhill and uphill.

Good atmosphere waterfall located on the hill. Not so many people around there, just vereal groups of tourist. Cold water and fresh air, highly recommended for the hot day. After entering, we got on the back of a two-seater motorbike and went to the pool of the falls. I was overwhelmed by the height of the falls. The atmosphere was like an island country! You can feel like a tourist, and the waterfall itself is so grand and overwhelming. The water is also clear and it's sure to look great in photos!! Many people were wearing swimsuits and enjoying themselves!! Personally, I thought it was even more amazing than Nachi Falls. Oslob is famous for swimming with whale sharks. If you go locally, you will be on a packed bus with no air conditioning, so I recommend going on a tour. The whale sharks are so big and impressive. There are so many whale sharks that boat tours are available everywhere. Another famous spot is Tumalog Falls. This waterfall can be reached in about 15 minutes by car from the whale shark area. Although the amount of water is small, the waterfall that flows down from the large rocks is very mysterious and impressive. You can enter the waterfall basin. There are also doctor fish in the waterfall basin. If you are ever in cebu. You should visit Tumalog falls which is located in oslob about 3/4 hours from cebu city. This fall is very scenic and majestic. It will be sure to brighten your day and bring peace to your soul. When we went. There wasn’t a entrance fee. But you do have to pay for bilke ride too and from falls if you don’t want to walk. It was such a shame that it was difficult to capture this wonderful scenery with a camera. If you get close, you can't capture it all in one frame with a camera. You have to use a wide-angle lens to get it in. The waterfall viewing area is not that big, but it was more fun because the water was cool and there was a space with doctor fish, which was perfect for the hot Cebu weather! One of my favourite waterfalls in Cebu. It is located in Oslob, province of Cebu. It is quite a steep walk from the parking space but you’ll be walking on a road. There are motorcycle that you can ride on, just have to pay 100php. It’s cold and we used to just bring our drinks and place it in the water to make it cold. It child friendly as the water is shallow. the deepest part of water is only reaching the chest about 4ft. The flow of the water is not too strong so people love to stay under the waterfall. It has now been renovated and it has gotten even more beautiful.
