When I was transiting back to Japan from Europe, I had a 10-hour transit in Turkey, so I joined a free transit tour offered by Turkish Airlines! After passing through immigration, I applied at the Turkish Airlines counter, then got on a large bus and headed to the tour. When I participated, there were two Japanese people, myself and a female partner. Including people from other countries, there were enough people to fill two large buses! To be honest, the tour was not long enough! But it was free, I got to eat, and I got to see the main tourist spots, so it was a nice souvenir. It was a good deal to be able to spend a long transit sightseeing instead of just waiting in the airport! And it was free! *It's convenient to have cash on hand if you plan to shop at the bazaar.

I had a calm and pleasant experience at the Turkish airport lounge. I could charge my phone and easily follow my flight updates. I really enjoyed the tea and sweets! Unfortunately, I didn’t like the food, especially the salty rice—but many others seemed to enjoy it, so maybe it’s just me!
