🪞Mirror of the Sky🪞The second largest salt lake in the world is in Turkey🇹🇷

✨Do you know what a salt lake is?
[Salt lake explanation] A salt lake is a lake formed when salts are concentrated during the evaporation process. Usually, water is supplied from seawater or groundwater, and as it evaporates within the lake, the water decreases and salts remain. This can cause the lake water to have a very high salt content 🙆♀️
That's enough about the salt lake explanation.
The "Uyuni Salt Lake" is the largest salt lake in the world and is very popular with travelers, but it's really hard to get there...😭😭😭This time, I'd like to introduce "Lake Tuz" in Turkey, which is easier to get to than Uyuni Salt Lake~🙆♀️I'll also explain a little about Uyuni Salt Lake, so if you're interested, please go and see it‼ ︎I couldn't go to the Uyuni Salt Flats because of the riots in Peru 🙃
---------------------------------🧂Lake TuzLake Tuz 🚖Location: Aksaray? 💰Admission Fee: Free⏳Viewing Time: 15 minutes📝Honest Review P O I N T ✔︎・The location in Turkey isn't that good・It's easy to get there if you want to experience a fake Uyuni Salt Flats・If you're lucky, you can see wild flamingos・Prices in Turkey are cheap🇹🇷・Bring a towel!
Your shoes will get dirty on the salt lake, so you'll need a towel to wash them at the wash area at the entrance and then go home!
When I look at the photo of Lake Tuz, I can't tell where the salt lake ends and where the sky ends😳Amazing! The beauty of nature 🥺
Some photographers use mirrors to edit photos to make them look good, but this was taken with the iPhone 11 camera without any editing 📸
It really makes me think how amazing the Earth is.
How to get there
We rented a car for a week and went around Turkey, so unfortunately I can't give you detailed directions. However, it's about an hour and a half by bus from the Turkish capital, Ankara, and about three hours by bus from Cappadocia, so if you're in the area, it should be easy to get there on your own? There were a lot of tour buses 🚌 parked in the parking lot, so I'm sure you'll find some tours if you look! It's not a very famous tourist spot for Japanese people, so please come and visit us 🙆♀️
⚠️Caution⚠️🚨It's best to visit during the summer 🚨In winter, it's not mirror-like, so it's just a lake 🙃It would be sad if you went all the way there and couldn't see it like in the picture... so please check the season and go there
---------------------------------🏞How to get to Uyuni Salt FlatsUyuni Salt Flats is located in Bolivia 🇧🇴, a country in South America. The general way to get to Bolivia from Japan is to first fly to La Paz or Santa Cruz from a major airport such as Tokyo. The problem is money 💰 I think it will be quite expensive... Below are the flights to Bolivia and Turkey! ✈️One-way Tokyo to La Paz is about 100,000 yen, and Turkey is about 50,000 yen one-way Tokyo to Istanbul, which is twice the price! And since there are no direct flights, you have to transfer several times, which costs money and effort. I think it's best to go to South America for a long time and visit various countries 🙆♀️👑There is a route called the royal road for South American travelers, and I'll tell you about it 😉 I don't know if it's really the royal road, but lol There is a way to go from Machu Picchu in Peru 🇵🇪 to Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia 🇧🇴 by land, and Uyuni from Machu Picchu is something you should go to once in your life! It seems that buses in South America are very comfortable, so this method is cheap and efficient, so it's called the royal road!

☀️My impressions after going
Before I went, I thought it was a salt lake, but I was wrong! And it really was "salt"!
I got excited because I couldn't experience it in Japan. The rustling sound is also fun~ Don't go in stylish shoes! Your sandals will get extremely dirty. There is a faucet at the entrance, so I recommend paying about 5 lira (30 yen) to wash your shoes🙆♀️ Don't forget to bring a towel~
