🌄Accidentally Entered Taroko Gorge, Entered the World of Hayao Miyazaki's Anime
If nature is the greatest artist, then Taroko Gorge must be one of its proudest works! I recently visited Taroko Gorge and was truly amazed by its beauty! I can't wait to share this natural treasure with you all~
📍Location: Taroko National Park
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to drive or rent a car, so you can enjoy the scenery along the way more freely. If you choose public transportation, you can go to Hualien first, and then transfer to a shuttle bus to Taroko Gorge.
As soon as you enter Taroko Gorge, it feels like stepping into an isolated fairyland. The towering marble canyon is carved with deep textures by the torrents of time, and every ravine tells the story of billions of years of change. Walking along the trail, there is a clear stream under your feet, sparkling in the sunlight, and you can occasionally see small fish and shrimp playing in the crevices of the rocks.
💥Swallow Grotto is a must-see in Taroko Gorge! Standing on the trail, looking up, you can see the cliffs covered with countless caves, which are the homes of swallows. The swallows fly around the cave entrance in the breeze, chirping as if welcoming visitors from afar. Taking photos here is super photogenic, and you can easily capture stunning shots!
There is also the Eternal Spring Shrine, an ancient building embedded in the canyon, backed by green mountains and facing green water, surrounded by mist, like an ink painting. Walking into the Eternal Spring Shrine, you can feel the strong historical and cultural atmosphere. It is dedicated to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to build the Central Cross-Island Highway, and their heroic deeds are awe-inspiring.
