To coincide with the public illumination of Ueno Toshogu Shrine, the bamboo lantern event at the Peony Garden was also held. The period is different, and unfortunately this event will end on November 5th. The event will run for one week from 17:00 to 18:00 It is quite a limited event, but thankfully admission is free. Not only were the bamboo lit up, but there were also flowers and other decorations, making it a very elaborate event. The bamboo illuminating the dark was warm and created a soothing space.
