Uixiangtai is located on the hillside of the coast from Luoshan Temple to Honglian Temple Guanyin Cave. When King Munmu of Silla built Naksansa Temple in 676, Master Uixiang meditated and practiced here. The existing pavilion was built in 1925. Yixiang Terrace is octagonal in shape and is an excellent place to watch the sunrise. It has been famous throughout the ages. Songjiang Jungcheol, a poet in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty, left behind the feeling of watching the sunrise at Uisangdae in his "Bie Song of Kanto". From Luoshan Temple via Yixiangtai to Honglian Temple, it is a must-see to visit the cave where Master Yixiang practiced in those days.

Naksansa Temple, an exotic temple located next to the coast
There is a place that breaks the stereotype that temples are located on mountains. Naksansa Temple, which is a good place to visit if you are traveling to Yangyang, is located next to the coast, so you can enjoy the temple in harmony with the ocean view.
The road to Naksansa Temple is a good place to take a commemorative photo while enjoying a walk, so it is popular with young people. In particular, how about placing a stone on the stone towers piled up here and there, making a wish, and making memories of your trip?

Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, where Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva resides, is good to visit on a rainy day
Yangyang Naksansa Temple, located between Sokcho and Yangyang, is where Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva resides.
It was founded by Uisang in 671 and is one of the three major Avalokitesvara prayer halls and is famous as one of the eight scenic views of Gwandong.
It is a good place to visit on a clear day, but it seems even better on a rainy day because it has a different feel.
