Check out Changsha's iconic spiral staircase at Wu Er Hotel! Perfect for photos
The design of Wu Er Hotel is a visual feast. Upon entering the lobby, the high ceiling and famous spiral staircase immediately catch your eye. Designers cleverly integrated local Changsha elements into the modern minimalist style. The hotel features gray, white, and natural wood as its main color scheme, complemented by brass details, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury.
Basic rooms start at 32 square meters, which is rare for city center hotels. Rooms feature smart control systems where lighting, curtains, and air conditioning can be adjusted with one touch via a panel or your phone. Bedding uses high-thread-count cotton fabrics paired with ergonomic mattresses to ensure quality sleep. Bathrooms are equipped with tropical rainfall showers and premium toiletries, while some room types offer bathtubs with city views.
During breakfast, in addition to standard international buffet options, the hotel specially recommends freshly made Changsha rice noodles and sugar oil rice cakes among other authentic local snacks. For lunch and dinner, the chef team creatively reinterprets traditional Hunan cuisine, presenting classic dishes like chopped chili fish head and stir-fried beef in more refined presentations.
Wu Er Hotel strives to break from tradition with its amenities: a 24-hour fitness center equipped with Technogym equipment and a yoga area; a book bar stocked with art and design books as well as readings on local Changsha culture; and complimentary wellness sweet soups offered in the evening.
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the FS International Finance Center shopping area. A 10-minute walk east takes you to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street and Jiefang West Road bar street. Within 100 meters of the hotel, you'll find popular brands like HEYTEA and Wen He You Crayfish, while the authentic Pozi Street food stalls are just steps away.
