Wandering into King’s Parade, spring truly came alive. King’s College Chapel stood regal against the blue sky, while tourists and students basked on the green. I grabbed a coffee from a nearby café and sat by Senate House, soaking in the atmosphere. Crossing the River Cam, I watched punts glide past, laughter echoing across the water. The Backs were in full bloom—daffodils, tulips, and weeping willows reflected in the river’s glassy surface. Looping back through Trinity Street and St John’s, the late afternoon light cast golden hues over the cobbled paths. Street musicians played near Market Square, adding a gentle soundtrack to the end of the walk. Day Three started with a stroll through the Botanic Garden, a gentle reminder that nature provides its own quiet lecture, each plant a chapter in a global narrative. Ending the day with port tasting at a snug tavern, I toasted to a city where intellect and whimsy coexist effortlessly. Departing Cambridge felt less like leaving a destination and more like closing a beloved book—rich, inspiring, and destined to be reopened soon.
