[Oita] Kyushu's power spot! Usa Hachiman Shrine
To Usa Jingu, a power spot in Oita City⛩️
It is the head shrine of over 40,000 Hachimangu shrines and one of the three major Hachimangu shrines in Japan!
It has a long history, dating back to the 6th century.
It has a deep connection with the imperial family and is even in history textbooks📕
I took Japanese history for my university entrance exam, and when I think of Usa Jingu, I remember the spell "Dokyo! Usa Hachimangu Trust Incident! Emperor Shotoku!" just like Pavlov's dog🪄
This was my first time visiting Usa Jingu, and the moment I entered I could feel the atmosphere change✨
I don't know, but the air was so clean that it felt like all the bad feelings inside me just disappeared.
I can now see why it's called a power spot🥹
The way to worship at Usa Jingu is different from usual: two bows, four claps, one bow.
And there is an upper and lower shrine, so don't forget to visit both!
The first photo is the road to Shimomiya, and I really love this single road💕
At first, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to walk because the grounds are quite large, but thanks to the fresh air, I was able to pray properly.
If you go to Oita, be sure to visit!
