It was a trip to Lille, France. Our first stop was Grand Place (Place du Général de Gaulle), the heart of Lille’s historic center. It takes just over an hour to get there by train from Paris, which is enough time for a round trip in one day. La Citadelle Lille Castle A little away from the city, it was once a French army garrison and one of Lille's important landmarks. Although the city of Lille is not big, it has many local specialties and several snack bars are recommended. 🧇1. Pâtisserie Méert: A century-old dessert shop.
