The villa was destroyed in the 18th century and restored between 1920 and 1930. However, it was damaged again in the bombing of 1944. There are many fountains in the villa that imitate the sculptures of ancient Rome and ancient Greece, with a number of about 500. It is a representative garden of the late Renaissance. Uncover the Timeless Beauty of Villa d'Este's Fountain Garden: A Hidden Gem of Tivoli, Rome 🌿💦
Villa d'Este and its breathtaking fountain garden hold a rich history that predates renowned sites like Versailles and Peterhof. This captivating ensemble was constructed in the 16th century and remains a testament to the beauty and ingenuity of Renaissance architecture.
What sets the fountain garden of Villa d'Este apart is its remarkable engineering. Unlike many other fountains around the world that rely on mechanical devices, these fountains operate solely through the clever use of natural pressure and the principle of communicating vessels. This ingenious engineering allows for a harmony between human creations and the natural flow of water, resulting in a mesmerizing display that continues to astound visitors to this day.
The vastness of the fountain garden is apparent in its statistics: an impressive 35,000 square meters of gardens, boasting an incredible 250 jets, 60 pools of water, 255 waterfalls, 100 tanks, 50 fountains, and 20 exedras and terraces. The garden is also home to 300 gates, 30,000 plants that rotate with the seasons, 150 towering trees that have stood for centuries, and 15,000 perennial ornamental plants and trees. Exploring the avenues, paths, and ramps spanning 9,000 square meters is like stepping into a living masterpiece.
Villa d'Este was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Delve into its fascinating history and picturesque setting by exploring the captivating stories and images featured in my stories. Step into the timeless beauty of Villa d'Este's fountain garden, and you will be transported to a world where nature, art, and engineering intertwine in perfect harmony. 🌿

Tivoli Villa d'Este (Villa Adriana).
At sunset, Villa d'Este is even more magnificent in the afterglow. The sunset spreads over the golden roof of the palace, making it glow warmly in the soft orange-red light. The Baroque garden in front of the palace and the symmetrical green corridors create a dreamlike atmosphere in the interplay of light and shadow.
The fountain reflects the orange-purple sky, like a colorful oil painting, with slight ripples brought by the breeze. The various sculptures in the garden are particularly vivid in the long shadows, as if taking you back to the glorious era of the dynasty. At dusk, Villa d'Este is quiet and full of a sense of history, like an elegant lady, slowly sinking into the night, waiting for the stars to come.

Como Lake hidden version of villa but I only recommend dining
I went to Como Lake District and arranged to have dinner there at noon. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. You can tell from the photos that it is very pleasant and you can see people sailing boats. I don’t recommend staying in old hotels unless you are a traveler who loves the decoration and design of old hotels. In addition, there is no need to stay longer in como unless you want to enjoy this cozy feeling. It's nice to take a leisurely walk

Italian Garden Villa Este
Villa d'Este in Tivoli is a historic building built for Cardinal Ippolito II d'Este, governor of the French-controlled territory of Tivoli in the 16th century. It showcases the rich luxury of Renaissance culture. .
Villa d'Este is an outstanding representative of the Italian garden, with impressive fountains, sculptures, caves, water games and water music. It constitutes a Baroque example that has been imitated repeatedly in European style painting, and is therefore designated by UNESCO. Listed as a World Heritage Site.
During the construction of the villa, the cardinals plundered the 1,400-year-old Palazzo Hadrian, built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and removed marbles and statues from it to decorate the Villa d'Este, giving it the appearance of an ancient villa. The famous ruins are full of gorges, caves and waterfalls.
The majestic buildings and nearby terraces resemble the skywalkers of Babylon, one of the wonders of the ancient world, while the water supply, with its aqueducts and tunnels beneath the city, recall the architectural talent of the Lomers. .
I have been to Rome dozens of times, but this is finally my first time to this city, which is very close to Rome. After visiting Villa d'Este, I really fell in love with it. This is definitely a place I want to go to again. . #GreenTravel#Looking at the Earth Instantly#Overseas Travel#我好 hang了#Garden#Villa#Renaissance #Europe#Italy Travel#Italy#Painting Creation#Waterfall#
