This time, I went to Ebina SA on the uphill side at 1:30 am on Sunday. Normally, you can only get to SAs on the highway, but Ebina SA is a Platt Park site, so you can visit without using the highway! Of course, you can also enter on foot! There is a dedicated parking lot (available 24 hours a day) very close to the Platt Park entrance. As it is one of the largest SAs in Japan, some stores are closed, but I still got the impression that souvenir shops and restaurants are quite open! I don't go on trips, but you can get souvenirs from the Kanto area even late at night, so I think it's very convenient when you suddenly need to prepare a gift! Great. Only 500 meters from Ebina Station. I was the only one enjoying the big bath in the photo. I was very satisfied with the buffet breakfast. The nearby coffee shop was very fashionable. I've been here many times with my son who loves trains. Romancecar Museum, a 3-minute walk from Ebina Station on the Odakyu Line! Since it opened in 2021, it's been so crowded that even if I went first thing in the morning, I couldn't get a numbered ticket for the first-come, first-served activities, and I cried tears of frustration several times, but now it's less crowded than it was then, and if you go first thing in the morning on weekends and holidays, you can basically enjoy the whole thing. My family's recommendation is the Romancecar Athletics. There is a 45-minute time limit, but you can play for 200 yen for adults and 300 yen for children in addition to the admission fee. If there was no 45-minute time limit, we would play forever, so I'm grateful that we have to leave (lol) The exterior, which imitates the GSE inside, is made of wood, and although it is shaped like a train, it has a warm feel to it. Inside, there are plenty of things to do, such as strap play equipment, a ball pool, a place to make a bento box by putting ingredients into a Romancecar lunch box, and train picture books! You can burn off your energy on your favorite train! It's hard for adults to go up to the second floor, so I got the impression that most people watch from the first floor. The museum is so well-equipped that you could spend the whole day there, so I recommend the attached Vina Kitchen for lunch. It was recently renovated, and since the renovation, the prices have become a little cheaper and the menu has increased. Kids love the GSE-themed children's set! The lunch box is packed with children's favorite dishes. It's also nice that the ingredients are packed on top of plastic so that it's easy to take home❣️ If you're lucky, you can see the car wash scene from the train view seat by the window! The Romance Car Museum is a must-see for kids and train enthusiasts! It's within walking distance of Ebina Station. It's barrier-free and easy to get to with a stroller. The interior is very clean and has a stylish atmosphere! The simple exhibits were wonderful. It's a size that you can go around in half a day, so it was nice to be able to take your time. There's also an area where children can play games and an area where you can drive N gauge trains! The large diorama is impressive! If you look closely, you can see Hayabusa 2 flying in the sky and many jellyfish in the sea, and my mother enjoyed the little details of the diorama.
