Weihai surprised us in so many ways. You get a little bit nervous as it doesn't really have much to offer on the drive in from the train station. BUT then you get to your hotel (make sure to book right next to the beach) with a vibrant small town atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. A street full of restaurants with many food options and of course seafood as the special treat. The clams were really good! Even for me and I'm not a big fan of seafood. 😱 The fog is quite heavy some days and mornings, but once it clears up you can appreciate the sea view. If you want a relaxing getaway in summer with just the sea, food and beer towers, this is worth a visit🐚🌊
