Wildseed Café at The Summerhouse
#singaporetrip
The dining environment at this restaurant is unpretentious, devoid of any interesting decor or unique design elements. During our visit, we sampled two main dishes: the Tempura Wagyu & Pork Ragout Linguine and the Grilled Seabass Fillet. The linguine, generously coated in a rich ragout sauce, offered a comforting flavor profile. However, the addition of tempura seemed unnecessary, failing to elevate the overall taste. Unfortunately, the seabass fillet was over-grilled, resulting in a slightly dry texture. It didn’t quite meet our liking. The latte, on the other hand, was a standout. Its robust coffee aroma immediately caught our attention. The brew’s strength was evident, making it a delightful choice for caffeine enthusiasts. The restaurant was bustling during the weekend, regrettably, the service did not match the crowd’s energy — it was a tad slow. In summary, while the dining environment lacks flair, the food is decent, and the latte is indeed a winner.
