Woldaecheon
#koreatrip
Jeju Island is a volcanic island, so even though most rivers exist, they are often dry streams that only temporarily flow when it rains. However, Woldaecheon, which flows in Oedo-dong, Jeju City, is a hidden summer resort loved by the citizens of Oedo-dong, with clear and cool water flowing throughout the four seasons. The reason is that Woldaecheon is an ecological stream that flows through the Oedo-dong area and flows into the sea, where the sea and Hallasan Mountain valley water meet. That is why it is also called Oedocheon. During high tide, seawater flows back and meets fresh water in this river, which is why many silverfish, mullet, and eels live here.
