Short trip to old Batavia @ Kota Tua, Jakarta
I had a great stay at Wonderloft Hostel Kota Tua this past August. One thing I noticed immediately was that the hostel attracts many Western guests, which made for a lively and diverse atmosphere. The receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions I had.
The location is fantastic, as it's close to tourist attractions, especially the iconic Kota Tua area, which is full of historical charm. What I truly appreciated was how accommodating the hostel was—they allowed me to check in early and even arranged for me to have a lower bunk bed because my hand was in pain, making it difficult for me to use the ladder.
In addition, the hostel is conveniently near many museums, perfect for anyone interested in history and culture. There's also a bustop nearby, making it easy to get around Jakarta and explore other parts of the city.
Overall, I had a great ex
