The vibrant colors and the crisp air made it a truly magical setting. I stumbled upon a preschool sports event and watched kids singing and teachers guiding them with patience and kindness. Though I got a bit lost at first and took the wrong bus, the sight of kids running around in their cute fall sweaters lifted my spirits. Started my second day in Seoul with a peaceful stroll through World Cup Park. This park is expansive, beautiful, and the best part—no entry fee! If you’re someone who enjoys a tranquil setting and wants a glimpse into local Seoul life, this is the place to be. Interestingly, while I was there, I didn’t spot any other foreign tourists—just me! The area feels very local, with families and children having picnics and playing around on the open fields. It was a joy to watch everyone enjoying the relaxed, happy atmosphere in such a refreshing outdoor space. I happened to come across a preschool sports event. It was so fun to see the kids singing along, with their teachers guiding them so politely and encouraging them to use kind words. Though I couldn’t take any photos or videos, this experience was precious, offering a glimpse into early childhood education here—it felt more positive and well-organized compared to back home. Despite a bit of getting lost and taking the wrong bus initially, my mood was quickly lifted by the sight of energetic, neatly dressed kids in such a positive setting. #fallingforfall #scenicspot During the fall foliage season in South Korea, there will be a lot of people going around to the popular fall foliage locations to view the beautiful and colourful scenery. Besides viewing it up close, the fall foliage is also beautiful when viewed from the top. To view the colourful fall foliage at World Cup Park, you can climb the 291 steps at Haneul Park. The Haneul Stairway is quite steep and can be quite exhausting to climb up depending on your personal stamina. We took around 40 minutes to climb up the 291 steps, and had to take around 2-3 breaks in between to catch a breath before continuing to go up. But the view from the top is quite nice.
