World cup Park, Seoul - My first autumn
On my second day in Seoul, I explored World Cup Park, an ideal spot to soak in the beauty of autumn. The park is huge, and best of all, entry is free! If you love serene spaces with rich autumn colors and want to experience local Seoul life, this park offers a perfect escape.
As I wandered through, the golden and red leaves blanketed the paths, creating a dreamy autumn scene. Surprisingly, I didn’t see many foreign tourists around—just locals enjoying the season. The park was filled with families having picnics under the fiery foliage, and kids laughing as they played among the fallen leaves. The vibrant colors and the crisp air made it a truly magical setting.
I stumbled upon a preschool sports event and watched kids singing and teachers guiding them with patience and kindness. The warmth of the moment, along with the autumn surroundings, made the experience feel even more special. Photos weren’t allowed, but just being there to observe the positivity and calm was priceless.
Though I got a bit lost at first and took the wrong bus, the sight of kids running around in their cute fall sweaters lifted my spirits. For anyone visiting Seoul in autumn, especially with children, World Cup Park is a must. There’s even a lake with ducks peacefully gliding along, completing the perfect autumn vibe.
World Cup Park isn’t just a park—it’s a seasonal gem where you can truly feel the magic of autumn and connect with the Seoul community.
