For the May Day holiday, we took a self-drive tour around Wuhan, using the Hubei Huimin Card. 🌟 Highlights: 1. East Lake Cruise: Note that there are specific docks for boarding. We boarded and disembarked at the Moshan dock, with two disembarking points on one side, where we observed facilities for biking and children's amusement. We didn't disembark, and the round trip took about half an hour. 2. Garden Expo Park: We arrived late, and the Natural Museum was closed. Along the way, there were some flower walls. The area is large and good for a walk, but not many special features. 3. Jianghan Pedestrian Street: During the holiday evenings, it was packed with people. The Melun Hotel is decorated in the style of the Republic of China, and even the gift bags given upon checkout were in this style. Next to the hotel, the Jianghan Customs House was one of the four major customs houses of the time and is now a museum that can be visited by appointment. 4. Lihuangpi Road Pedestrian Street's buildings were part of the original Russian Concession. Song Qingling also stayed here for several months. The architecture is distinctive, and the taxi driver told us the origins of the road names along the way, which felt very historical. 5. Kingdom Paradox Day: The immersive performance and the costumes were good. Unfortunately, we watched the children's version, which was not very interactive.
