[2025 Shanghai Attraction] Travel Guide for Wulong Lake Park (Updated May)

Wulonghu Park in Songjiang district seems to be one of the newest green developments the city’s urban upgrade projects for embellishment. This embellishment plans include channel and waterfront management. If you visit Songjiang, you see this area is surrounded by many rivers, channels (52) and waterfronts. This area resembles a little Chongming Island wetlands. Wulonghu Park seems to be quite new, I find it in the map but can’t find references of the name of this river. This green area is quite big, but trees are still small (recently planted/moved). Therefore, not much shadow during the day, and for a hot July day was not a good idea. However, I drag myself around because this area was so beautiful. There are many paths to follow, that goes under the bridge to continue your walk without worrying about main road (very easy access and to locate, too). Few places to rest. During the night you can see few building lights and gives a nice (and romantic) view of the city. Paths require better lighting, but I’m sure will be added soon. No many mosquitoes 🦟, despite the fact is summer and besides the river (big plus).
