Walking along the winding mountain path, we soon hear the sound of gurgling water, which becomes clearer and clearer, like a crisp movement, leading us closer to the water source. Guided by the stream, we head towards the waterfall group. Along the way, the mountains become more and more steep, but the scenery becomes more and more charming. When the figure of the first waterfall appears in front of us, the crowd can't help but exclaim. The waterfall of Wuxie is really well-deserved! It pours down from a high place, splashing water, like a piece of white silk falling from the sky, magnificent. The pool below the waterfall is green and bottomless. The pool water is sparkling in the sunlight, like a huge emerald mirror. Approaching the waterfall, the fine mist of water hits the face and clothes, but it makes people feel extremely refreshing, as if they are in a cool water world. Continuing to climb up, we appreciate the second waterfall, the third waterfall... Each waterfall has its own unique style. I was five minutes late and there was already a line. At noon, the wait time is about an hour. I heard that their beef fried noodles and soup noodles are also very good. I'll try them next time. After eating noodles, I went to Aunt Wang's Teppanyaki, which is very close. It's a 2-minute walk. I bought stinky tofu and starch sausage and put a lot of sweet sauce on them. After breakfast on the second day, we went to the Wuxie Scenic Area. We took a boat to Wuxie Mountain from the entrance of the scenic area. From the dock to the scenic spot, you can take a sightseeing car. Walking into the mountain, you can reach the fifth Wuxie Waterfall. Along the way, there are restaurants, cafes, and small shops for tourists to rest. Wuxie can be visited from bottom to top, reaching the first Wuxie in sequence. To go down the mountain, you have to return the same way. The scenery of each Wuxie is very good, with clear waterfalls and streams, cool and refreshing, a great place to visit in early autumn.

Wu Xie Scenic Area | Known as the oldest scenic tourist area in Zhejiang Province||In addition to the typical Jiangnan scenery of small bridges over flowing water and households, there are also the beautiful landscapes of mountains and waters. The Wu Xie mountains and waters, located in Zhuji City, have long been famous, with descriptions found in ancient texts such as the Eastern Han Dynasty's 'Yue Jue Shu', the Northern Wei Dynasty's 'Commentary on the Water Classic', and the Tang Dynasty's 'History of the Sui'. It is reported to be the oldest scenic tourist area in Zhejiang Province, attracting literati and poets as early as 1400 years ago. The Tang Dynasty's high monk, Zen Master Ling Mo, even established the Wu Xie Zen Temple here, which became widely renowned. Today's Wu Xie has become a national-level forest park, mainly composed of four scenic areas: Wu Xie Lake, Peach Blossom Source, East Source, and West Source Gorges. The entire scenic area is lush with vegetation, exuding a sense of ancient and primal beauty. The gorges on both sides are lined with peculiar peaks and strange rocks, competing in beauty, with '72 peaks, 36 caves, 25 cliffs', and the splendor of cliffside waterfalls. Among them, Wu Xie Lake (reservoir) is winding and expansive, covering an area of 568,000 square meters, long and narrow like a green silk ribbon floating among the mountains. Visitors can boat on the lake, enjoying the lush and graceful vitality of the scenery on both sides. However, the most spectacular and exquisite scenery belongs to the Wu Xie Waterfalls, which include Moon Veiled in Light Mist, Twin Dragons Competing in the Gorge, A Thousand Poses, Wild Horses Galloping, and Jiaolong Emerging from the Sea. But my personal favorite is still Jiaolong Emerging from the Sea (the fifth waterfall). From the 31.2-meter-high cliff, a white cascade rushes down with a sound like thunder, resembling a bolt of silk. When the water flow is strong, the pouring waterfall tumbles and soars, like silver snakes dancing wildly or a Jiaolong emerging from the sea, quite magnificent. The deep pool formed by the waterfall's impact is named 'East Dragon Pool', and due to its depth and expanse, with dark water, it is also called 'Black Dragon Well'. Standing by the deep pool, one can't help but feel how wonderful it is to be close to nature. Such scenery in the depths of nature is indeed one of the great joys of life's journey.

Take a boat from the south gate of Wuxie Scenic Area to tour the walkway (passing through forests and lawns) to Wuxie Zen Temple, and then to the fifth, fourth, third, second, and first spillways, the Red Maple Forest, Xiyuan Canyon, and Yanlin Lake. You have to climb many steps to go up from Wuxie to Xiyuan Canyon, where the number of steps finally begins to decrease. My favorite part is the Xiyuan Canyon section, with its winding turns, roaring water, many small stone bridges, and mini waterfalls.
