I've been to Chongqing three times this year, and each time I make sure to visit Longmenhao Old Street. As an outsider, I find it particularly characteristic of a mountain city. This month I went to Chongqing again and discovered that right next to Longmenhao, a new old street area, Xiaohao Li, had opened up, and it's really super photogenic. Xiaohao Li is still preparing many of its shops, but some coffee shops, bookstores, tea houses, etc., have already opened, and they're quite tasteful, matching the surrounding environment and very photogenic. It's true that you have to climb the mountain to get to Xiahao Lane, but the small shops along the way are all unique. When the sun comes out, everyone gathers around the stove in the small shops to bask in the warm sun. When you reach the riverside, you will see the blue sky and clear water stretching far into the distance. Then, you can climb up the mountain from Longmen Hao. It's a great experience.

This is a really great place to explore in Chongqing! It is quieter than Hongyadong, and the entire area felt so serene. I spent an evening walking around and chilling at a cafe overlooking a waterfall :)

Xiahaoli, also known as Xiahao Old Street, is easy to find. It is near the Shangxinjie subway station near the Dongshuimen Bridge, next to Longmenhao Old Street. In a hurried trip to the mountain city, a friend recommended Xiaohao Old Street on Nanbin Road, which really suited my taste. Xiaohao Old Street was once the necessary path to the Longmenhao Dock on the Yangtze River, and during the time when Chongqing served as the auxiliary capital, Longmenhao Dock was the main thoroughfare connecting the Yuzhong Peninsula with the southern bank. In the 1960s and 1970s, many small enterprises moved into Xiaohao Zheng Street, and before the 1980s, the Xiaohao district was always a bustling street on the south bank of the Yangtze River. I rarely use the word 'stunning' to describe a place!!!! I've been power walking in Chongqing for 2 days, each day taking 20,000+ steps. What I really love is this place!!! It's simply breathtaking!!!! Who could resist such an atmospheric shop? It feels like a toy model landscape, and there are also plenty of unique stores/creative shops and art galleries. (Is every pretty girl in Chongqing here? The photo spot is in picture 2) Xia Hao Li Old Street Take the light rail Circle Line to Xin Jie Street No.1 exit. Lighting time: 18:30 (By 8:30 PM most shops are closed) Recommended route: From Hui Long Men to Hao Li Old Street, then Xia Hao Li to Xin Jie Street, and finally to Nan Bin Road. Try the address park as the main attraction for about 200 minutes. Alternatively, from Long Men Hao Old Street to Xia Hao Li, then to Bai Xiang Ju, Chaotianmen, Hong Ya Dong, Jiefangbei, and walk back to Yuzhong District downtown area via Dong Shui Men Bridge.

I've been in Chongqing for 5 days, took the Yangtze River cable car, visited the Three Gorges Museum and the Financial History Museum, strolled through the Raffles City Sky Park, saw the Liziba monorail passing through a building, witnessed the marvel of Kuixing Tower and the grandeur of the Two Rivers Tour, walked through the mountain city lanes and the Eighteen Steps, also went to the Dazhong Old Street, Huangjueya Old Street, walked the Huangge Ancient Trail, climbed to the South Heavenly Gate of Laojun Cave, overlooked the mother city of Chongqing, ate hotpot, Shao Bai, Chongqing noodles... If I were to recommend a place, my favorite is still Haohao Li! It feels like a place out of a fairy tale, no amount of photos do it justice, no amount of wandering feels sufficient.
