If you want to enjoy the ancient town, it is recommended to walk around the ancient town for half an hour. Find a teahouse by the river to drink tea with friends, chat, enjoy the scenery and relax. This is a great way to go to Banwei. The ancient town is usually crowded with out-of-town tourists. But I found that there are many locals drinking tea and gathering here. The whole atmosphere is a bit leisurely and relaxed. There are couples sitting by the river on a date. The newly built tourist center has standard restrooms 🚻 with complete facilities. The first place I arrived at was the former residence of Shen Quan; see photo 2.
