[Nagoya] Nagoya gourmet trip
Yabatan is famous for its miso cutlets in Nagoya.
This pig character has a very cute local feel to it.
At first, I thought the name "Yabai Tonkatsu" meant "Yabaton," but when I got to the area and saw a sign for "Yabacho," I learned that it was named after the town.
Yabatan was founded in January 1953.
Apparently it started as a small diner.
And when you think of Nagoya udon, you think of the flat kishime noodles.
Ebisu-ya, a long-established kishimen restaurant, is even older.
Founded in 1927, they have been preserving the techniques passed down since the Edo period.
