A quick trip to Yakushima

At the end of May 2024, I took a crazy trip to Yakushima for 1 night and 2 days!
Fly from Haneda Airport to Kagoshima Airport, then transfer to a propeller plane to Yakushima Airport✈
On the first day, from the moment we arrived until before dark, we rented a car from Car Share for 6 hours and went around the island.
It was refreshing to go around Yakushima clockwise from the sky, fill up on food around the port, and then go through the natural heritage site😆😆😆
▶︎Times Car Share is recommended🙆♀️
It's a bit of a walk from the airport, but it's less than 10 minutesჱ̒˶ー̀֊ー́ )
🚗Yakushima Airport Store
It's smoother if you prepare the Times Car app in advance and make a reservation for a ride! There are also referral discounts, first-time campaigns, and student discount campaigns. (It may be open or closed, so check the website ( 📞¨̮ )♥)
Monkeys and deer in the middle of the road! 🦌🦌🦌It's really close.
On the way there is a place called Okawa Spring Water, and the water was really delicious...!
Senpiro Falls is a spectacular sight, so I recommend it if the weather is good.
I wanted to go trekking and see the Yakusugi trees, but there were too many places I wanted to go in 1 night and 2 days, I didn't do any physical training, and I'm simply too weak in the morning, so I'll try again next time 😅
▶︎The place to stay is basically a guesthouse. The thriving area is the port, and the area is divided into Miyanoura area and Awa area. The airport is right between the two ports. After having various problems with the accommodation I had booked, the guesthouse I stayed at was so warm and welcoming that I almost cried. I'm very grateful that it includes meals in the morning and evening. It's called Minshuku Yakushima on the Miyanoura side. This guesthouse also prepares you for trekking, so the grandparents were very enthusiastic. I will continue to work hard.
On the second day, I was planning to go to Kagoshima Port from Miyanoura Port, so after having a delicious breakfast at the guesthouse, I left my luggage in a locker at Miyanoura Port and walked around the area 🚶♀️
I forgot my cell phone on the bus again that day and was helped by the people on the island, and I fell in love with Yakushima!
It was a very lucky trip, with clear skies in a place that is said to rain 99% of the time, and the people on the island helped me a lot 🥲🥲🥲
There are still many places I haven't seen, so I would like to go again 💪🏻
If you like nature, please go there :)))
