The city center, with locations like Tsuruma Park and Yamazaki River, becomes a scenic canvas of cherry blossoms. In Nagoya, I really felt that the driving was too good to be wasted, so I chartered a car and went to Kyoto for a tour. Yamazaki River is located in Mizuho War in Nagoya City. I just bike it from my house. This spot is a great spot for Cherry Blossoms viewing. The whole trail of the has Cherry Blossom trees growing all over it, thus, when Spring comes, this area turns to pink. Although I have to warn that it really gets crowded every Spring because it is such a popular place in Japan for Hanami. #wintergetaway
