I've been to Sanya 9 times, and each time was a new experience. I know Sanya like the back of my hand. This post is full of useful tips, no ads. If you're planning a trip to Sanya, make sure to save this post! 🚇 Transportation Don't rush to get a taxi when you arrive in Sanya. There are airport buses at Exit 5 that go directly to the city center. If you have a lot of luggage, go to the parking lot on the 3rd floor opposite Exit 7 to get a ride-hailing car. The drivers are quick to accept orders, so you don't have to worry about not getting a car. 📆 Travel planning If it's your first time in Sanya, don't try to visit all the attractions in one day! The attractions in Sanya are scattered, so it's best to visit one area at a time. Sanya Bay, Dadonghai, Yalong Bay, and Haitang Bay each have their own unique charm. Take your time to enjoy the relaxing island atmosphere. If you want to take a beautiful aerial photo of the Nanhai Guanyin statue from the plane, choose a window seat on the left side in the last five rows when checking in. 🏨 Accommodation Choose a hotel in Sanya Bay or Dadonghai. It's recommended to 🔺bring your own waterproof phone case. Store all other luggage🎒 because you'll need to use your hands and feet➕get completely wet. So luckily our hotel provides a car which cost 280rmb roundtrip. ⭐️ Entrance ticket with a package this month of June: 238 rmb (you can check the picture I’ve uploaded) it includes a lot of different activities such a zip line, obstacles , glass bridge, waterfall climbing, lunch (local cuisine) etc. ⭐️ Things to remember⭐️ ⭐️to take extra clothes if you would do the rainforest obstacle course ⭐️mosquito repellent lotion or spray ⭐️ sunblock Enjoy! #naturalwonders #staycation

Yanoda National Park

This is a pretty big park⛰ I think Covid has hit the region hard as you can tell it used to have a lot more people come visit & some attractions are no more. Saying that – you enter and queue to take a 🚌bus straight up the mountain (5-10mins). You arrive and there are some food stalls if you’re hungry & the staff sing to welcome. Some touristy shops here too. There is a “wetland” area which had some alpacas & rocks to walk across the water with many picture taking ops, if that’s your thing. What’s kinda nice about this park is that there is raised plank walkways and stairs throughout - but there are also options to walk a more ‘natural’ path where you are walking and climbing up big stone pathways which is nice! There are some small rope bridges, some “lucid caves?!?” & small really nice untouched forest. I think those are the biggest and oldest date palm trees I’ve ever seen and they were magical. There is a 1000-year-old Banyan tree you can walk through and the jungle is left to enjoy almost naturally. Unfortunately you can hear the echoes of the restaurant and shop owners at times throughout the park but there are a few nice spots of just the birds and bugs! Of course – no National park is without its dinosaurs and you can find them dotted throughout this one, my favourite is in the orchid stream. The maps are confusing to everyone – so just go with an open mind – it’s not a huge park and easy enough to get around. Unfortunately – they have small petting zoo and it was heartbreaking as the animals are pretty sad and their pens aren’t really spacious enough and is almost all concrete. I chose t rush through this as I found the state of the animals upsetting. I didn’t do the glass walkway or the zipline, not because they are extra,but I didn’t give myself time. All in all – I would recommend coming for a couple of hours to see some nice forest, rocks and some fresh air. The park is about an hour from the airport & the drive there is stunning! ⛰ #viewontop#themepark

Check out this secret place in Sanya - Yanuoda Tropical Rainforest Park at 18°N. Feel the mystery and magnificence of the rainforest and start a wonderful tropical rainforest journey. 🎊Park features: 🌴Located at 18°N, the park is a microcosm of the five best tropical rainforests in Hainan. Yanuoda is a combination of tropical rainforest, canyon wonders, waterfalls, Li and Miao culture, tropical fruits, hot springs, and other tourism resources. It's so much fun! 🎫Tickets [One] Round-trip rainforest bus (CNY 158/adult, CNY 110/elderly and children) This is the most basic ticket. You will walk the longest distance and time, almost all on foot. Take a 12-minute bus ride from the park entrance to the glass platform.
