The Yanwu Bridge is located in the Navy Pier-Yanwu Road-Baicheng section of Xiamen Huandao Road and opened to traffic in September 2003. The Yanwu Bridge was built on the ruins of the ancient Yanwu Pond and Yanwu Field. The west side faces the statue of Zheng Chenggong across the sea. Therefore, it is agreed to use the local place name "Yanwu" related to Zheng Chenggong to name the bridge. Yanwu Bridge is built across the sea in Houhai of Xiamen University, hovering in circles. At night, there will be white lights on the bridge, which looks like the third son of the Sea Dragon King. During the day, when the car crosses the bridge, you will feel like you are walking on the sea and let the sea breeze blow your hair. Listening to the waves beating on the bridge piers and rolling up the blooming waves, if the tide is high, the sea has a tendency to submerge the bridge, and the car is full of horsepower, more like flying. Standing on the bridge, you can see the Gulangyu Island on the other side, the lush trees, the courtyard-style European villas are dotted, and the scenery is very good.
