After the Guinan High-speed Railway 🚄 was opened, it only took more than an hour to get from Guiyang to Libo, so we went to Xiaoqikong on the weekend! Everyone in Guizhou has been to Xiaoqikong, but what surprised me this time was the paradise on earth, Yaoshan Ancient Village, which is only 20 minutes away from the east gate of Xiaoqikong! The village is not big, but the buildings are all in the original style of the Yao ethnic group, and every place is the same as in "Let's Go Now"! After visiting Xiaoqikong, among Yaoshan Ancient Village and Libo Ancient Town, we chose Libo Ancient Town. The architecture is quite unique, but it's mostly restaurants, a bit too commercialized. We stayed at Guiyuan Inn, which was relatively clean, but the stairs were too high. There's a tree at the entrance with beautiful blossoms. It was quite noisy at night, the air conditioner was loud, and the frogs downstairs were also loud. For someone like me who is particular about my sleeping environment and already has poor sleep, it didn't feel like much of a visit. We had a bean rice hot pot, which tasted okay. We ordered the 88 yuan couple's meal, the beef was delicious. The boss was nice and even gave us a pack of tea, which tasted good. But there's no need to make a special trip here, it's okay if you're just passing by.

Dongmeng: This used to be one of the poorest villages in Guizhou, without electricity or internet, and the transportation was backward and blocked. But now it's much better, but the village is still very primitive, there is no convenience store in the village, only the mobile 'goods Chang'an' comes to sell irregularly. In the village, you can only see a few old people working and children playing at the entrance of the village. Yao Mountain: White Pants Yao, Two Pieces Yao, I also saw it for the first time here. This is not a male farming and female weaving, it is a matriarchal society. Women work during the day to weave and dye cloth, and men drink and play with birds during the day. Every man here will keep a bird, it is said that they believe that the bird is their lover in the previous life, so the bird cage is almost inseparable. The Two Pieces Yao is for the convenience of breastfeeding, it has to be said that mothers are really great!
