I've just returned from Xiamen, brimming with travel tips and some hard truths I need to tell you! Xiamen in May is unbelievably beautiful, but there are also plenty of tourist traps. Don't worry, I'm here to help you avoid them! 🌩️🎒 📌 Don't go to the wrong ferry terminal for Gulangyu; the Xiamen-Gulangyu Terminal is the way to go. Don't waste a trip! 🚤 💰 Luxury ferry ticket? Forget it! A regular ticket for 35r will do the trick, spending that extra 1 yuan to go upstairs is really not worth it! 💸 ⏰ Arrive at the terminal 50 minutes early; if you're late, you lose everything, as ferry tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable. Missing it is like throwing away a piece of waste paper! ⏳ 🛍️ Don't buy things on Gulangyu; the prices on the island are frighteningly high! 💸 🌿 Enter the Wanshi Botanical Garden through the west gate; the popular succulent garden is just a stone's throw away. Don't take the long way around! 🌵 🌅 Watch the sunrise at Huangcuo and the sunset at Baicheng Beach. Don't mix them up; each is not to be missed! 🌄 🏖️ Yefengzhai Beach is less crowded and has beautiful scenery. Go check in and enjoy the tranquil beauty! 📷 🐬 Kinmen Dolphin Base is not that easy to encounter dolphins, if you're short on time, skip it! 🚢 🛍️ Zengcuo'an is too commercialized, honestly not much to see! 🚶‍♂️ 🚇 Line 1 is super beautiful, don't miss it. want a clean beach? check out yefengzhai beach beautiful clean waters and shore line. has a few shops around for your beverages. if your lucky on a clear sunny day you can see kinman islands from a distance. the Hugh board in chinese states " 1 country 2 systems " this place is said to be known as Taiwan straight since Taiwan isn't very far off. check out if your in the area 😉

The beach at Yefengzhai is worth checking out whatever the weather. If it's raining, you'll have the place to yourself, but if the weather is good, your photos will look even better! The huge coconut forest and Ocean Science Park are both worth a visit if you have time. Go upstairs in the Science Park to find a pyramid-shaped construction which is sure to wow your Instagram followers.

There are many interesting shops and landmark check-in walls It feels a bit like Dongshankou in Guangzhou, very suitable for walking around Shapowei There are many check-in spots when you take a taxi to Shapowei later. The photo taking at the corner cooperative is quite good. There are also many small shops in the Art West District where you can visit Zhongshan Road Later, we came back to Zhongshan Road to check in the background of Zhonghua City It costs 10r to go up to the balcony to take pictures. It doesn't seem worth it. Zhongshan Road is similar to the pedestrian streets in every city. DAY2️⃣ Coconut Wind Village The next morning, we set out on the Ring Road to watch the sunrise at around 5:00 am The coconut trees and the morning glow of Yefeng Village really give it a Xiamen feel. The weather was good and the sunrise was really beautiful. Gulangyu Island After watching the sunrise and catching up on sleep, we set off for Gulangyu Island in the afternoon Buy ferry tickets in advance at "Yujian Xiamen" Regular tickets are 35 yuan, and deluxe tickets are 80 yuan. After arriving on the island, I basically walked a little bit. There are not many people in the off-season, but there are many tour groups Some check-in points still require queuing There are many retro buildings and Catholic churches. Many people take wedding photos. Then we walked to Dadeji Beach and felt the sea breeze. It was so comfortable. After the evening tour, you can leave the island from Sanqiutian Pier. The return trip is free. DAY3️⃣ Nanputuo Temple On the third day, we went to Nanputuo Temple to worship. You can get a stick of incense and wash your hands in the sink when you enter. There are many places to buy bracelets in the temple. The bracelets are all blessed and look great. Who Bistro & Bar (Forbidden City Yujing Branch) This store has changed its theme to Hello Kitty It's really cute. There are many kt decorations in the store and the products are also KT fans recommend to check in - I didn't find anything particularly recommended for food. Xiamen's milk tea is delicious. One Tree One Leaf Tea Mountain KOi is OK. Pork tenderloin, chestnut and four-fruit soup can also be very refreshing Shacha noodles may not taste as good as I'm used to. Taro crispy duck is just so-so - This is how the three days and two nights ended. I feel Xiamen is not as rip-off as rumored. It depends on personal judgment. I feel that the local customs and the seaside are quite comfortable. Suitable for you or your friends to relax and have fun I still recommend Xiamen tourism~

Xiamen | Traveling alone blog🧩|🌊 Looking out from the car makes me feel like I am dreaming back to LA🌴 - 🏖️There are not many people at Yefengzhai Beach and the water is relatively clean. You can go there at five or six in the afternoon. I randomly found this Yexia sea view restaurant in the evening and watched the sunset for dinner. The taste of the food is not important anymore. The key is that the view is so good🌿 - Shapowei is really a difficult place to review. There are almost no tourists at three o'clock in the afternoon. Many shops are not open. There is not much to see in the shops. I recommend Weilin Dessert🍧. The Tang Shui Shop recommended by many people is really delicious. ⛱️Xiamen is really suitable for a vacation alone
