Decided to spend the weekend with a friend's family at a different place. After checking online, we found a well-reviewed homestay—Yiman Gaocun. We set off after lunch. It used to take 4 hours to drive to Pingwu, but now with the highway, it's very convenient and takes only 2 hours. Upon arrival, they thoughtfully prepared homegrown fruits for us. You can also experience fruit picking yourself. Haha, who can understand the joy of picking fruits?! Since it's close to the Laohegou Nature Reserve, you can enjoy water activities nearby. The water quality is superb and very cool. You can even chill fruits in the water. Both kids and adults had a blast. In the evening, we sat on the lawn, watching the stars and chatting. I wished that moment could slow down. I can't help but introduce our room: Cleanliness/Soundproofing: I give it full marks. It's very clean, and the quilt smells like sunshine. Room Type/Layout: We chose the half-moon pool suite, which has a private yard and pool. Highly recommend this room if you're bringing kids. Amenities/Facilities: They have all the toiletries. We brought our own but didn't need to use them. You can tell the hotel is very thoughtful about their amenities. Restaurant Features: Breakfast was beef noodles cooked by an auntie, and it was delicious. They also have wild vegetables and mushrooms, all-natural and pollution-free. Oh, and their chicken and pork come from local farmers' free-range chickens and grain-fed pigs. The meat is very firm. During our stay, we became like family with the housekeeper and aunties. We love this place and will definitely come back. 💯

The highway from Mianyang to Pingwu is open, so I couldn't wait to take a soul journey. A friend stayed here before, so I chose this homestay again this time. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when I came, but it did not affect the ambiance of the homestay at all. You can let the kids pick vegetables and fruits by themselves. The housekeeper said that the owner planted many fruit trees, with different fruits in each season (peaches, plums, pomegranates, sugar oranges, etc.), satisfying all my beautiful memories of my hometown. 5. The aunt at the homestay is like an old friend, always smiling, showing us around, and introducing the room facilities one by one. This service deserves full marks. 6. Because it's by the river, you can put fruits and drinks in the river for natural ice-cooling effect, which is simply a bonus. 👉 Introducing our room, we booked the 1099 one with a garden + a whole granite private hot spring pool. In the evening, taking the kids to soak in the private hot spring made them very happy, relieving the fatigue of the whole day. The room we stayed in is called: Yunman. The name is so romantic, and the bed is soft, like sleeping in the clouds, very comfortable. Woke up naturally in the morning, and breakfast was already prepared for us. In the afternoon, there was a barbecue set, and in the evening, there was a goodnight sweet soup. The owner also gave each room a gift box of three flavors of 'vegetable' house. This cost performance is really good‼️ Thankful for such a place in the busy life, I really like it, and I will come again next time.
