I visited this place many times and specially when there is some special event going on around here. There are many food shops inside and the surrounding view of Yokohama bay is also very beautiful and relaxing. I must say it a good place to visit. A beautiful old structure - German architecture, most likely. Hosting events around it. The sight of this red bricks building is a treat to eyes and it attracts you.

The warehouse consists of Hall 1 and Hall 2. The exterior retains the European style of red brick buildings, while the interior has been converted into a complex of cultural and entertainment facilities such as shops, restaurants and multi-purpose halls. Hall 2 is a gathering place for food. This time we tried desserts from two restaurants. I wanted to eat more but couldn’t finish it all! MILK MARCHE is located on the first floor of the second building. There is a very conspicuous sign at the door. I ordered the signature PLAIN BUTTER GAUFRETTE. It looks like a pancake, and the filling is cream with a sweet milky sauce? Custard? It tastes amazing. I thought it would be very sweet, but it is sweet but not greasy, and it still has the sweetness of milk. Many people in this store will order ice cream, but I didn’t want to eat it today, so I didn’t order one. A PLAIN BUTTER GAUFRETTE costs 390 yen. Huffnagel, located on the first floor of Hall 2, is a cream sandwich biscuit. All biscuits are refrigerated. The cream will start to melt about 15 minutes after leaving the refrigerator. The clerk will ask how long you will wait before eating, and will also give you ice retainer and bags, which is very thoughtful. Each one is individually packaged, and the exterior paper box is also very exquisite. There are many flavors. I bought an original flavor, which is an oatmeal biscuit with cream and raisins.
