While a dragon was flying upwards towards heaven, water rained down off the dragon. Thus, comes the name Yongyeon pond which also means Dragon pond. Visiting Jeju Island for the first time during winter, it was so cold that snowflakes were falling as I walked outside. 🥶 Luckily, I stumbled upon this 24-hour self-service cafe with no staff! Inside, it was warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot to take a break from the cold and enjoy a cup of coffee to recharge. This cafe is located near one of Jeju Island's major attractions, Yongduam Rock. It's just a 10-minute walk across the suspension bridge. The coffee here is made from Starbucks capsules, with various flavors to choose from. Instructions are posted on the machine, and you can pay with a credit card. The price is very reasonable, only 60-70 THB per cup.

My second #Jeju trip of 2022, suddenly with some free time!! • On the day I returned to Seoul, I decided to go to #Yongyeon Valley because I had some time left before boarding the plane. • It's where fresh water and sea water meet, and the color of the water was amazing. Since it's near #Jeju Airport, I could often see airplanes flying into the sky. • After that, I went up to the #Yongyeon Valley Cloud Bridge and enjoyed the valley scenery, which was a double benefit of both digestion and healing.
