Yu Qian, a native of Qiantang County (now Hangzhou), was an outstanding statesman and strategist in the Ming Dynasty. He was unjustly killed in Beijing for the crime of treason, and his remains are buried at the current site. The unjust case was rehabilitated by Zhaoxue, and Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty bestowed the posthumous title of "Sumu", and built the Jinggong Temple next to the tomb, and set up two sacrifices in the Spring and Autumn period, forming a unified pattern of temples and tombs. It is now composed of a tomb area and an ancestral temple area. On both sides of the tomb passage are imitated Ming-style stone Wengzhong, stone beasts and arches. The halls and halls display historical materials and real objects of Yu Qian's life. Surrounded by pines and cypresses, the cemetery is solemn and solemn. Together with the Yue Temple, it has become a rare patriotic education and cultural landscape by the West Lake.
