From November to March, during the irrigation season, the cascading waters of the Yuanyang Rice Terraces reflect the blue sky, white clouds, mountains, and trees... like pieces of shimmering, gold-rimmed stained glass, spread across the embrace of Ailao Mountain. However... the perennial mist is the norm for Ailao Mountain; during the overcrowded Lunar New Year period, every viewing platform is completely packed.
