[2025 Mokpo Attraction] Travel Guide for Yudalsan (Updated Jun)

#summervacay Decided to check out Yudalsan on a chill day, and did not expect such a fun little hike with such awesome views. It’s not a tall mountain, so don’t expect an epic trek, but that’s what makes it great. Easy to get to, easy to climb, and just a good time all around. The trail is super manageable, some stairs, some natural paths, and a bunch of cool spots to stop and take in the views. There are even sculptures and art stuff along the way, which is kinda random but also kinda cool. Gives it a unique vibe. Once you hit the top, you get this amazing panoramic view of Mokpo, the ocean, and a bunch of little islands floating in the distance. Sunset up there? Unreal. Hung out for a while, snapped some pics, then cruised back down with zero stress. Yudalsan is the perfect “quick adventure” spot, low effort, high reward, and just straight-up good for the soul.

Yudalsan is not too challenging as you can reach the summit within an hour from the entrance, and you can see the entire city of Mokpo from the top. After the hike, we ate dongdongju and dakbokkeumtang at a restaurant called 'Parking Lot,' and it was absolutely delicious!
