#singaporetrips Yueh Hai Ching Temple is an ancient Taoist temple with traditional Chinese architecture, built by Chinese immigrants in Singapore. Located in the heart of the city, it houses Mazu, the Goddess of the Sea, and God of love, also known as the God of Red Threads. This temple is famous for granting wishes related to love and health.
If you wish to seek love blessings from the God of Red Threads, you can ask the temple staff for guidance. They will lead you through the ritual and provide you with a red thread. The staff are very kind. If you have some extra time after praying, take a moment to admire the temple’s architecture and decorations. The craftsmanship is truly stunning!

If you are interested in visiting the teochew Temple located in the hearts of town, you should visit this teochew Temple. The temple looks like you are travelling back in time into the 1900s period. The people have given the temple a chance to make it look like what it used to be in that period. From the famous justice bao to the right immortals. All the deity statues are created by the efforts of the people . No two statues look alike as they are hand made. The teochew Temple is a one storey tall temple. You can allocate 20 to 30 minutes of your time there. It is just a ten minutes walk from the raffles place mrt station.

Praying for blessings at Yehaiqing Temple. Go to 1 temple and get 3 things. 🙏😍
Yue Hai Ching Temple is the oldest Taoist temple in Singapore and is located in the central business district of Singapore. Inside the temple, there are beautiful architecture and artwork in the style of ancient China. It is also a temple that is famous for praying for love, so much so that it is called “The Love Temple”. Anyone who wants to find success in love should go straight to worship the “Elder of the Moon” god. #This is the Red String Temple of Singapore 👨❤️👨💑👨❤️👨👩❤️👨👩❤️👩
Yue Hai Ching Temple is divided into 2 parts: the left side is a hall for worshiping the god Ma Zu Po, who the Chinese believe is the god of the sea or the mother of heaven. The right side is a hall for worshiping the god Xuan Tian Shang Di or Tua Lau Yah, who is the father of heaven.
The structure and area of this temple may not look very big. But locals still like to worship and pay homage to the sacred gods here regularly. Because in addition to the two main gods, there are other gods inside for you to pray to, such as the god of asking for children (the left pavilion), the god of asking for a partner, and the god of asking for success in education (the right pavilion).
🙏🏼How to pray and ask for blessings: Light all 9 incense sticks at once.
3 incense sticks: Ask for work or education.
3 incense sticks: Ask for health and safety.
3 incense sticks: Ask for love and children.
Note: Bring all the incense sticks to stick outside.
When the incense sticking ceremony is complete, take the red string to ask for a blessing for love by clearly stating your name, date of birth, address, and the blessing you wish for.
No photography allowed inside. I only took pictures from outside.
🚆Transportation: MRT, get off at Raffles Place Station, Exit B. 💴Entrance fee: Free
