Zhengzhou - Southern Taihang Mountains self-drive route - Jincheng We set off at around 10:30 am on Saturday. Although the journey was long and the mountain roads made the elderly feel carsick, the trip was really fun. The water in Wujiayuan is very clear, perfect for skipping stones. There is a go-kart track by the water, which is much cheaper than those in the city, CNY 30 for 2 laps and CNY 50 for 4 laps. It sounds like a tractor, but the kids love it. Navigate to Heimaogou Grand Canyon, and you will see this small waterfall. There is a path to the water, which is very clear and fun. It must be great in summer. There are bamboo rafts on the way to Heimaogou Grand Canyon, CNY 60 per boat, with a maximum of five people. The boat is quite stable, and there is no time limit. It feels like a good deal, but it is a bit cold. Then we left the southern Taihang Mountains and went straight to Jincheng. We had dinner at Ten Small Bowls. There were not many people, so we ordered small portions, so we could try more dishes. The millet rice is not recommended, as it is tasteless, but the texture is okay. On Sunday, we had meatball soup and visited the Jade Emperor Temple and the Guandi Temple. They are very quiet places, but not recommended for kids. Overall, I don't recommend coming here. We wanted to go to the Royal Prime Minister's Palace, but we didn't have enough time. If you want to go, just go to the Royal Prime Minister's Palace.
