[Shiga] Hikonyan is so cute! Omi beef tataki bowl
Yumekyobashi Castle Road is a spot near Hikone Castle where you can enjoy Shiga gourmet food 🥩
Along this street, you can eat delicious Omi beef at Omiya ✨
The Omi beef tataki bowl set is characterized by the egg roll with Hikonyan on top! It was a cute-looking bowl that looked great in photos 🐱
Of course, the Omi beef was also delicious!

[Shiga] Omiya Storehouse
Yumekyobashi Castle Road is located right next to Kyobashi Bridge, which spans the moat of Hikone Castle.
The streets are unified with white walls and black latticework in the style of a townhouse, reminiscent of a castle town in the Edo period, and are lined with Japanese and Western confectionery shops, as well as shops selling local products.
This time, we had lunch at "Omiya Kura."
I was very satisfied to be able to eat Omi beef at a reasonable price.

While I was strolling along Yumekyobashi Castle Road (tourist street) in front of Hikone Castle, the words "Omi Burger" caught my eye 😳
I had to go in 😋
You can get the Omi Burger at ✨LU・PAN✨
It seems that many celebrities visit the store, and there were photos in front of the store and many autographs inside ✨
This time I had:
*The Burger ¥1300
*Double Salt Burger ¥1800
*Biwako Cider ¥300
The Burger
▶︎A classic burger with triple sauce (original black sauce, tomato puree ketchup, original honey mustard)
It's also full of vegetables, so it's very satisfying to eat!
Double Salt Burger
▶︎A simple burger with just two slices of meat and a bun!
Only butter and rock salt are used for seasoning!
Simple and the meat is delicious.
It was filling and I was able to enjoy the meat to the fullest.

[Shiga Hikone Trip] Yumekyobashi Castle Road / Omi Beef and Houseboats
We took a stroll around the castle town of Hikone Castle
✴︎Yumekyobashi Castle Road✴︎
Castle Road, a charming streetscape under Hikone Castle,
has many local gourmet restaurants and souvenir shops.
The streetscape is like a little Kyoto, with its ancient streetscape.
We enjoyed the castle town scenery and bought lots of souvenirs.
Address: 1-7-1 Honmachi, Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture
✴︎Kara Sennaritei ✴︎
We ate Omi beef sukiyaki at Kara Sennaritei, which is famous for its Omi beef!
We recommend the sukiyaki, which is light and refreshing with its sweet fat!

You can enjoy the view of the old houses from the boat while listening to the boatman talk about the history of the area around the castle.
In spring, you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom from the boat.
A cute swan named "Tara-chan" lives at the pier and will greet you when you board the Yakatabune.
