Yumura Onsen is located in Hyogo Prefecture and is an old hot spring with a history of about 1200 years. It is said to have been discovered by Jikaku Daishi in 848, and since then, many people have visited and enjoyed the healing waters. The water is a colorless, transparent alkaline simple spring, which is said to have a high skin-beautifying effect. The famous part of Yumura Onsen's culture is the "Arayu", where the source water flows at about 98 degrees, and you can experience making "onsen tamago" by boiling eggs and vegetables.
