And its mix of cliffs, coves and ancient Roman streets are worlds apart from Split or Dubrovnik’s noise and crowd. This is also where you will find not so crowded and peaceful adriatic beaches. The pine covered streets of ugljan and pristine lakes with crystal clear lagoons is what sets it apart from other places. Some of croatia's most impressive National parks are close to or easily accessible from Zadar. Making it a great base for holidays that involve National parks.
