It is located in Chengtou Lane. The atmosphere is simple and homey, but it is full of the original Hangzhou atmosphere. ✨The shop's signature menu is the fried spring onion buns (葱油生煎包), which are bite-sized, crispy on the bottom, chewy on the top, and filled with seasoned pork. It is even more delicious when eaten with black vinegar. There are also other menus such as Yangchun noodles, which are served with a rich and fragrant sauce, and wonton soup, which has a clear and delicious soup. ✨The shop opens from early morning until around 1:30 p.m. In the morning, the shop is packed with locals queuing up to buy take-away. The atmosphere is lively but friendly. ✨What impressed me was the simplicity and attention to the taste of the food. Even though it is a small shop, every menu is freshly made. In Wuliuxiang, floral affairs intertwine with culinary delights. Zhao Baomei Pastry Shop is a renowned establishment in Hangzhou, located right next to Wuliuxiang. Their pan-fried buns are considered exceptional. Waiting in line here to taste a steaming hot pan-fried bun allows you to experience the most authentic traditional flavor. If you get tired from walking, head to Doufuer Bridge and find a riverside café to sit down. Order a latte sprinkled with osmanthus, watch the weeping willows swaying by the river, and enjoy a leisurely moment of relaxation.
